The Inktober 2018 Challenge
Last year was the first year I participated in Inktober. I was so glad I did, as it was a transformative experience. I had grown so much from it.
That is why I am doing it this year again.
The little story behind this one- For some reasons, I kept thinking Day 3 is Spell until I saw everyone is talking about Roasted. I was totally unprepared for it and was about to draw something else, but then this idea popped up when I was walking my dog.
It is not perfect, but it is the first time I just drew from my imaginations without any photo references.
I messed this one quite a bit and almost abandoned it. My main fear with ink has always been about screwing up a nice draft. However, I can’t expect that every time it will come out perfect. As a result, I cut off the 1/3 of the original and made the best of the rest of 2/3. :)
I want something simple on this one. Hence I only use a brush pen to draw directly.
Trying the Kraft paper for the firs time.
I felt like drawing something loose since I had been to uptight since the start of Inktober. I am glad I did.
13 is a character that I am going to restore every year.
Wanted to draw something relaxing and tested out shades and values this time.
